Staging & Interior Decorating is Key to Getting Top Dollar

Below are the seven (7) steps to getting top dollar for your home when you sell:

1. Understand who’s your buyer.

About 95% of the time, the woman (if a couple purchases a home) decides which specific house to purchase. Therefore, you should stage and decorate your home accordingly to most womens’ taste.

2. Choose a highly experienced agent.

Real estate is complex. It’s full of legalities. Agents must master real estate contracts, understand property law and know how to negotiate.

Furthermore, getting you top dollar requires extensive experience, skill and creativity. Don’t entrust an inexperienced agent with your greatest asset

3. Professionally stage the interior of your home.

Home Staging is the process of preparing your home for the buyer. If your home looks cluttered with personal memorabilia, it’s very difficult to imagine your home as theirs. Home staging adds 1%-8% to the value of your house!

Decluttering is a primary objective. If your home is cluttered, and your walls are filled with personal memorabilia, It’s very difficult for potential buyers to envision your home as theirs. Potential buyers are trying to visualize how their furniture and furnishings will look, but it’s not easy. Therefore, they will pass on your home.

In addition, postcards will be distributed in your neighborhood, video ads will be placed in major social websites once per week, such as: Facebook; Facebook Marketplace; Instagram; You Tube and Twitter.

Finally, we’ll create a vitual open house and post it to the internet, so that prospective buyers won’t be knocking on your front door and trampling through your home all hours of the day/night!

6. Select an agent that knows how to remodel inexpensively.
